SPRING 2010 UAM SGA ELECTION RULES
ALL CANDIDATES MUST TURN IN A SIGNED COPY OF THE ELECTION RULES.

FILING DATES FOR SPRING 2011 GENERAL ELECTION

NOTICE: SGA Canidate Filing Period ENDS MARCH 11, 2011 4:30PM.

ALL FORMS MUST BE TRUNED IN TO THE OFFICE OF STUDENT PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES BEFORE 4:30 PM MARCH 11, 2011!

Students who are interested in getting involved with Student Government should consider running the SGA General Election. In addition to running for Student Body President/Vice President, there are positions on Student Senate, and Student Activities Board that are open during each general election. The SGA General Election is held each spring, usually in April. The process of running for an office can be a great experience by itself, and is not necessarily difficult.

If you are interested in becoming involved, please take the time to carefully review all rules and regulations concerning expenditure reports, campaign materials, deadlines for forms, etc. Once you have received the Election Rules and filed for a position, you will be responsible for upholding these rules and regulations.

If you have questions regarding any of the election materials or the process of filing for a position, please send us your question. We, the Elections Committee, will make every effort to help you.

Good luck.

Anthony Boykin
Spring 2011 Election Commissioner
